How does the percentage draw work?
The percentage draw is a fundraising event where 50% of all ticket sales go to the winner, and the other 50% supports the British Columbia Rugby Union's charitable activities. The more tickets sold, the bigger the prize! This is a percentage-based prize calculated from the actual gross revenue generated through ticket sales.
Who can purchase tickets?
Tickets may only be sold and purchased by individuals who are 19 years of age or older and are located in British Columbia at the time of purchase. Online ticket sales platforms must verify age and location as required by BC gaming regulations.
When is the draw?
Ticket sales run from January 5, 2026 through December 14, 2026. The draw will take place on Monday, December 14, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Mountainview Motorsports, 44160 Yale Road West, Chilliwack, BC V2R 3Z9.
What ticket packages are available?
We offer four ticket packages: 3-Ticket Pack for $5, 7-Ticket Pack for $10, 15-Ticket Pack for $20, and 40-Ticket Pack for $50. All packages provide the same chance to win per ticket - more tickets simply give you more chances!
How will I know if I won?
The winner will be contacted using the information provided at the time of purchase. Results will also be posted on our website and social media channels following the draw. The draw will be conducted using an Electronic Ticket Draw (RNG) system provided by Trellis Social Enterprise.
Is this event licensed?
Yes, this event is fully licensed by the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) of British Columbia under BC Gaming Event Licence #162890. All proceeds are used in accordance with BC gaming regulations. The raffle is operated and conducted solely by British Columbia Rugby Union in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licence terms.
